After you donate, claim your tax deduction by following these 3 simple steps:
Keep the receipt that we will leave at your door the day of your pickup.
Keep a list of the items you donated.
Estimate the value of your donations.
The IRS requires that you have a receipt from any tax-exempt organization you donate to. If you need a replacement receipt you can contact us at dispatch@CACDonations.org or 972-509-1412.
Tax Exempt Status
Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County is a registered tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code. Federal tax regulations state that any donations of property, or cash contributions, to Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations. Generally, contributions are deductible as Charitable Contributions on Schedule A to Form 1040 if you itemize deductions.
